After releasing their first regular album ‘The First’ in 2012, Eastern Sidekick(a.k.a. ESK) has been vigorously performing at Korean indie music mecca, which means around “Hong-ik University”, and several big rock festivals such as Pentaport Rock Festival, Green-plugged Festival, Music Matters 2013 KPOP NIGHT OUT in Singapore, 2013 Summer Sonic in Tokyo. Also, ESK was selected as a Weekly Champion in global competition program ‘ASIA VERSUS’ on Fuji TV Japan.
ESK’s 3rd EP, ‘Hammer Lane’, carries deep oriental emotions with their rough-but-unique sound as well as the straightforward lyrics.
